Released: a YETI Hopper Flip mount for the UPPAbaby Vista

The YETI Hopper Flip Cooler Mount for the UPPAbaby Vista is out. It carries a Hopper Flip 8 or a Hopper Flip 12 in the lower position of a Vista, so the cooler gets its own spot and the storage basket goes back to holding the diaper bag, the jackets and everything else.

Important: this mount fits only the original Vista lower adapters (the first-generation, pre-2024 ones). It does not fit UPPAbaby's 2024 and newer lower adapters. For those, the YETI Hopper Flip 12 Cooler Mount for 2024 & newer lower adapters is now available (Hopper Flip 12 only; a Flip 8 version is in development).

Before anything else, though, there is one thing to check. It is not your stroller. It is your lower adapters.

Check your lower adapters first

This mount fits the original UPPAbaby Vista lower adapters, the ones sold before UPPAbaby redesigned them in 2024. It does not fit the 2024 lower adapters (UPPAbaby part 0901-VLA-NA), which come in the box with a RumbleSeat V2+ or RumbleSeat V3.

Your stroller's model year will not tell you which set you have. Both sets fit the same Vista frames, so a V2 can be wearing the new adapters and a V3 can be wearing the old ones. The adapter is the part to look at.

The ten-second test

Take one lower adapter off and measure straight across the flat tongue, the part that slides into the bassinet or car seat, at its widest point.

About 44 mm (1¾ in): the original adapters. This mount fits.
About 58 mm (2¼ in): the 2024 and newer adapters. This mount will not seat on them; you want the 2024-and-newer version (Hopper Flip 12).

No ruler handy? Two quicker checks:

Does your RumbleSeat clip into the same lower adapters as your bassinet? If one set takes the bassinet, the car seat and the RumbleSeat, those are the 2024 adapters. If your RumbleSeat came with its own separate adapters, you have the originals.
Look underneath. The 2024 adapter has a small spring tab molded on the underside. The original does not.

Why we are this specific

When this mount first went up, the listing said it fit every Vista from 2015 on. That was wrong, and a customer found it before we did. UPPAbaby's 2024 adapters are well over half an inch wider than the originals, and our mount is shaped for the originals. So the listing, the Fit Guide and this post now say exactly which adapters it fits, with a measurement you can check yourself.

Update, Oct 30: the version for the 2024 and newer adapters is out, for the Hopper Flip 12: the YETI Hopper Flip 12 Cooler Mount for UPPAbaby Vista (2024 & Newer Lower Adapters). A Hopper Flip 8 version for those adapters is still in development. If that's the one you need, tell the Fit Finder and we will email you the day it ships.

What it does

The mount seats in the Vista's lower position and your Hopper Flip seats into it. Drinks for the park, milk or formula that needs to stay cold, lunch for a long day out: all of it rides where you can reach it, instead of at the bottom of the basket under everything you packed afterwards.

Two sizes, two parts. The Hopper Flip 8 and the Hopper Flip 12 each get their own mount, shaped to that cooler. Pick the one that matches yours. The Hopper Flip 18 isn't supported.
Rated to carry the cooler packed completely full. No weighing, no holding back.
Low, inside the wheelbase. The cooler always goes in the lower position. There is no handlebar or upper version.
One thing down low at a time. The Vista's lower position holds the cooler mount or another lower accessory, not both. Everything above it mounts as usual, and the seat still reclines fully.
Nothing to modify. It uses the stroller's existing lower position.

It is a mount for the cooler and nothing else: no one sits, stands, leans or climbs on it.

Which Vista frames

With the original lower adapters fitted, it fits the Vista V3, Vista V2 and the 2015–2019 Vista. Vista frames from 2014 and earlier use a different mounting interface and are not compatible.

Every order is a matched pair, made in black after you order it and inspected before it ships. Every product is test-fitted on the actual stroller before we launch it. If a mount arrives damaged, doesn't seat on your frame, or isn't what you ordered, send a photo within 30 days and we'll replace it at our cost, no return needed. That includes ordering this one and then finding you have the 2024 adapters.
