Read this first: there are two versions of this mount

UPPAbaby redesigned the Vista lower adapters in 2024, and the new one is a physically different, much wider part. A mount built for one will not seat on the other, so there is a version of this cooler mount for each.

This is the version for the 2024 and newer lower adapters — UPPAbaby part 0901-VLA-NA, the ones that come in the box with a RumbleSeat V2+ or RumbleSeat V3 and also carry the Bassinet, Aria, Mesa V2 and Mesa Max.

If you have the original pre-2024 lower adapters, you want the original-adapter version instead.

The model year of your stroller does not tell you which adapters you have. Both versions fit the same Vista frames. It is the adapters that decide it — and there is a ten-second test below.

How to tell which lower adapters you have

The definitive test is a ruler. Take a lower adapter off the stroller and measure straight across the flat tongue — the part that slides into the bassinet, car seat or seat unit — at its widest point.

• About 58 mm, or 2¼ inches — these are the 2024 and newer adapters. This is your version.

• About 44 mm, or 1¾ inches — these are the original adapters. You want the original-adapter version.

That is a difference of well over half an inch, so there is no ambiguity once you have a ruler on it. Both numbers come from scanning the actual parts in our shop.

Two quicker checks, if you do not want to find a ruler:

• Does your RumbleSeat clip into the same lower adapters as your bassinet? If one set takes the bassinet, the car seat and the RumbleSeat, those are the 2024 and newer adapters. If your RumbleSeat came with its own separate adapters and the lower adapters only take the bassinet or a car seat, those are the originals.

• Look at the underside. The 2024 and newer adapter has a small spring tab molded underneath, toward the stroller side. The original does not have one.

Our YETI Hopper Flip 12 Cooler Mount attaches your Hopper Flip 12 to the lower position of your UPPAbaby Vista. The cooler gets its own spot on the stroller, and the storage basket underneath goes back to holding everything else — the diaper bag, the jackets, the snacks, the souvenirs, and whatever your kids hand you on the way out the door.

Drinks for the park, breastmilk or formula that needs to stay cold, lunch for a full day out — all within easy reach, instead of buried at the bottom of the basket under everything you packed after it.

This version is made for the Hopper Flip 12. A Hopper Flip 8 version for the 2024 and newer adapters is in development — tell the Fit Finder you want it and we will email you the day it ships.

Remove it before you fold the stroller

The mount must come off before the stroller is folded. Folding with it installed can damage the mount, the cooler, or the frame itself. Take the cooler off first, then the mount, then fold.

Compatibility

The 2024 and newer UPPAbaby Vista lower adapters — UPPAbaby part 0901-VLA-NA, about 58 mm (2¼ in) across the tongue. This is the part that decides whether it fits. See the test above.

Vista frames from 2014 and earlier use a different mounting interface and are not compatible at all.

YETI Hopper Flip 12 only. The Hopper Flip 8 and Hopper Flip 18 are not supported by this mount.

The mount is shaped to its cooler. It is not compatible with other UPPAbaby frames, other YETI models, or other brands of cooler — a different bag won't just fit a little looser or tighter, it won't seat at all.

UPPAbaby stroller, lower adapters and YETI cooler are sold separately and are not included with this product.

How it works

The mount slides onto the lower adapter the same way the bassinet or car seat does, and your Hopper Flip 12 seats into it. Your cooler rides on the stroller where you can get to it, and the storage basket underneath stays free for the rest of your gear.

The cooler always mounts low. Hanging weight is the single most common way a stroller tips, which is why every stroller manual warns against hanging bags from the handlebar. A loaded cooler is heavy, so this mount puts it inside the wheelbase, where the weight is carried rather than levered. There is no upper-position version of this mount and there will not be one.

The Vista's lower position holds one thing at a time, so it's the cooler mount or a lower-position accessory down there, not both. Everything above is unaffected — the toddler seat, bassinet and infant car seat all mount as usual, and the seat still reclines fully.

What it's rated for

A completely full cooler. Pack the Hopper Flip 12 to capacity — ice, cans, bottles, whatever fits — and the mount is built to carry it. You don't need to weigh anything or hold back.

What it is not built for is a person's weight. Never let a child sit, stand, lean or climb on a mounted cooler, and never use it as a step or a seat. It is a cooler mount, not a perch. Nothing other than the cooler should be hung from it either.

Frequently asked questions

Will this fit my Vista?

It depends on your lower adapters, not on your frame. It fits the 2024 and newer adapters — the wider ones, about 58 mm across — on a Vista V3, V2 or 2015–2019 frame. If yours measure about 44 mm, you want the original-adapter version. Vistas from 2014 and earlier are not compatible at all.

Why are there two versions at all?

Because UPPAbaby changed the part. In 2024 they redesigned the lower adapters so a single set could carry the bassinet, the car seat and the new RumbleSeat, and the redesigned adapter is substantially wider. Anything that slides onto it has to be built to the new width. We found that out the way we would rather not have — a customer told us — so now there are two parts and two listings with a measurement at the top of each.

Can I just order the other one and make it work?

No. The difference is over half an inch. It is not a tight-or-loose situation; the wrong one will not go on at all.

Is there a Hopper Flip 8 version for these adapters?

Not yet — it is in development. Tell the Fit Finder and we will email you the day it ships.

Will it hold a completely full cooler?

Yes — pack it to capacity. The mount is built to carry a fully loaded Hopper Flip 12, so you don't have to think about how much you're bringing. What it is not built for is a person's weight: never let a child sit, stand or climb on a mounted cooler.

Why not just put the cooler in the storage basket?

You can — but a Hopper Flip takes up a big chunk of it, and it usually ends up buried under everything else. This mount gives the cooler its own spot, so the basket has room for the rest of your day and the cold stuff stays within reach.

Can I mount the cooler up top?

No. The cooler always mounts in the lower position, for weight distribution. There is no upper version.

Will the seat still fully recline with the cooler mounted?

Yes.

Can my child still ride up top?

Yes. The upper position is unaffected — toddler seat, bassinet or infant car seat all mount as usual.

How many pieces come in the box?

Two. The mount ships as a matched pair, printed in black — the only color we print.

Does the cooler come with the mount?

No. This listing is for the mount only. The stroller, lower adapters and YETI cooler must be purchased separately.

Do I have to modify my stroller?

No. The mount uses the lower adapters you already have and does not require permanent modification of the stroller, the adapters or the cooler.

Is this made by YETI or UPPAbaby?

No. This is an independently designed aftermarket accessory made by Stroller House. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by YETI or UPPAbaby.

Has this been tested?

Yes — the actual printed part, loaded on the bench, before it was ever listed. Nothing goes on sale here until it has been tested rather than modeled, and every part is test-fitted on the real stroller before it ships. Where we publish a weight figure, that figure is never more than half of what the part was tested to carry — a safety factor of at least two. We don't publish the bigger number, because margin you advertise is margin people spend.

What is the mount made from?

PETG, 3D printed to order in our own shop, then test-fitted on the actual stroller before it ships. Printing to order is how we can make parts for frames nobody else covers — there is no tooling to pay for and no minimum run, so a part exists as soon as the design is proven rather than once a thousand of them have been sold.

Each mount is printed after you order it, then test-fitted on the actual stroller and inspected before it goes in the box. You'll get tracking as soon as it ships.

If something is wrong

If a mount arrives damaged, doesn't seat on your adapters, or isn't what you ordered, send a photo within 30 days and we'll replace it at our cost — you won't need to ship the original back. That includes ordering this one and finding you have the original adapters. Full details in returns.

Before you use it

This is an aftermarket accessory made by Stroller House, not an UPPAbaby or YETI part, and fitting it may affect your stroller's warranty. It is not a child restraint, is not certified to any child restraint standard, and nothing a child rides in or on may ever be attached to it. The mount carries a fully loaded cooler, but it is never rated for a person's weight — no child may sit, stand, lean or climb on a mounted cooler, and nothing other than the cooler should be hung from it. Remove the mount before you fold the stroller. Check that it is seated and the cooler is secure before each use, and stop using it at the first sign of cracking, whitening, deformation or movement.
