Balance Bike & Scooter Holder for UPPAbaby Vista

$34.99

They ride the whole way to the park. They do not ride the whole way home.

That is exactly what this holder is designed to fix.

Our Balance Bike & Scooter Holder clips onto the upper side frame tube of your UPPAbaby Vista and gives the bike its own place to ride. Two cradles sit along the tube with their openings facing up, so the bike drops straight in and lifts straight out — no straps to thread, no bungee to fight, no bike over your shoulder for the last mile.

It rides low and outboard of the frame, well inside the footprint of the stroller, because hanging weight high on a stroller is the main way one tips. That is also why it does not go anywhere near the handlebar.

Every order is a matched pair of holders, printed in black.

The stroller, bike and scooter are not included.

Why parents love it

• The bike comes home on the stroller instead of under your arm

• Drops in and lifts out in one motion — nothing to unclip or unthread

• Mounts low and inside the wheelbase, where weight belongs on a stroller

• Takes a balance bike or a kick scooter

• Rated to carry 50 lb — many times what any balance bike weighs

• Leaves the storage basket free for everything else

• A rubber grip strip in each clip holds the pair in place along the tube

• Installs and removes without permanently modifying your stroller

• Made to order and test-fitted on the actual stroller before it ships

Compatibility

UPPAbaby Vista. Vista V1 (2015–2019), V2 and V3 — every Vista from 2015 onward — share the mounting interface. Vista frames from 2014 and earlier use a different interface and are not compatible.

Either side. Both holders go on the same tube — the upper side frame tube — and you choose which side of the stroller that is. Left or right, the pair fits.

What fits in the cradle. The cradle is 46 mm (1.8 in) across on the inside and about 55 mm (2.2 in) deep. Measure whatever will rest in it — the top tube of a balance bike, or the steering column of a kick scooter — at its widest point. Anything up to 46 mm drops straight in. That is the number to check, not the brand on the bike.

Please verify your stroller model before ordering.

Stroller, bike and scooter are sold separately and are not included with this product.

How it works

Each holder hooks over the top of the frame tube and swings down until the bottom clicks. No tools, nothing to tighten, nothing to over-tighten.

The clip is load-closing. The weight of the bike rotates each holder into its hook rather than off it, so the load pulls the clip tighter onto the tube the more you put in it. A push-on clamp does the opposite — the bike's leverage walks it off the corner. We know, because that is what an earlier design did on the bench, and it is the reason this one is shaped the way it is.

A rubber grip strip sits in a pocket on the frame side of each clip, so the pair does not creep along the tube.

The bike rests in the cradles with its own weight holding it down. Lift it out the same way it went in.

Remove it before you fold the stroller

The holders must come off before the stroller is folded. Folding with them installed can damage the holders, the bike, or the frame itself. Take the bike out first, then the holders, then fold.

With the pair fitted and the bike loaded, the stroller rolls, steers and brakes normally, and the bike sits clear of the rear wheel.

What it's rated for

Rated to carry 50 lb. That is many times what a balance bike or a kick scooter weighs, which is the point — the rating is not the thing you should have to think about on a walk to the park. The figure we publish is never more than half of what the part was tested to carry.

It is not a child restraint and is not certified to any child restraint standard. It must never be used to support, restrain or carry a child. It carries the bike or scooter only when no one is on it — never put a child on a bike or scooter while it is in the holder, and never let a child sit, stand, lean or climb on the holder or on what it is carrying. It is not a seat, a step or a perch.

Frequently asked questions

How much weight will it hold?

The pair is rated to carry 50 lb, which is many times what a balance bike or kick scooter weighs. What it is not built for is a person's weight: no child may sit, stand, lean or climb on the holders or on a mounted bike, and no one may ride a bike or scooter while it is in them.

Does the bike need to be strapped in?

No. It sits in the cradles under its own weight. That is the point — one motion in, one motion out, while you are holding everything else.

Which side does it mount on?

Either side. Both holders go on the same upper side frame tube, and the choice is yours.

How far apart do the two holders sit?

That is yours to set. Space them so your bike hangs level, then leave them there — the grip strip keeps them put.

Will they slide down the frame tube?

No. A rubber grip strip sits in a pocket on the frame side of each clip.

How big are they?

Each holder is about 101 × 66 × 30 mm (4 × 2.6 × 1.2 in) and weighs about 2 oz. They were deliberately shortened from an earlier, bulkier version without giving up any of the rating.

How many pieces come in the box?

Two. The holder ships as a matched pair, printed in black — the only color we print. Both pieces go on the same frame tube.

Does the bike come with the holder?

No. This listing is for the pair of holders only. The stroller, bike and scooter must be purchased separately.

Has this been tested?

Yes — the actual printed part, loaded on the bench, before it was ever listed. Nothing goes on sale here until it has been tested rather than modeled, and every part is test-fitted on the real stroller before it ships. Where we publish a weight figure, that figure is never more than half of what the part was tested to carry — a safety factor of at least two. We don't publish the bigger number, because margin you advertise is margin people spend.

What is it made from?

PETG — tougher and far more heat-tolerant than the PLA most printed parts use. Each holder is printed with six solid wall loops, because on a part shaped like this the strength lives in the skin rather than the infill. Black is the only color we print.

Do I have to modify my stroller?

No. The holders clip onto the existing frame tube and do not require permanent modification of the stroller or the bike.

Is this made by UPPAbaby?

No. This is an independently designed aftermarket accessory made by Stroller House. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by UPPAbaby.

Made to order, and fitted before it ships

Each pair is printed after you order it, then test-fitted on the actual stroller — we own the Vista these were designed on, and the photos on this listing are that stroller — and inspected before it goes in the box. You'll get tracking as soon as it ships.

If something is wrong

If a holder arrives damaged, doesn't seat on your frame, or isn't what you ordered, send a photo within 30 days and we'll replace it at our cost — you won't need to ship the original back. Full details in returns.

Before you use it

This is an aftermarket accessory made by Stroller House, not an UPPAbaby part, and fitting it may affect your stroller's warranty. Remove the holders before you fold the stroller. Check that both are seated and the bike is settled in the cradles before each use, and stop using them at the first sign of cracking, whitening, deformation or movement. Keep printed parts out of hot parked cars. Always follow the stroller manufacturer's instructions and weight limits. See installation and safety.
